On most hospitality projects the furniture is drawn by an interior designer and scheduled in an FF&E package. Our part is to turn that intent into something buildable at the agreed budget: we review the drawings, raise anything that will not perform in service, produce shop drawings for approval and get finishes signed off on samples. Nothing goes into production until the designer has approved it.
Built for commercial wear
Hospitality furniture is used harder in a month than home furniture is in a year. Chairs are dragged, tables are leaned on, banquettes are knelt on to reach the window. That is a joinery question: frames that resist racking, tops fixed to bases that will not loosen, edges that survive a cleaning trolley. We build to commercial use from the start rather than reinforcing a residential design.
Sequencing delivery with the fit-out
Furniture arrives into a building that is still being finished, so timing matters. Built-in seating and bars are usually needed before the final floor finish is protected, loose furniture after it. We plan deliveries with the general contractor so pieces arrive when the space is ready for them, not stacked in a corridor for a week.
Mixing custom and stock pieces
Not every piece on a hospitality project needs to be custom. Stock contract chairs can sit alongside custom banquettes, bars and tables built to match them, which keeps the budget for the pieces that shape the room. We can match finishes and details to a chosen chair, or design the custom pieces to complement it, so the room reads as designed as a whole rather than assembled from catalogues.

- Yes. We quote and build from the designer's FF&E schedule and drawings, and produce shop drawings and finish samples for approval before production.
- Is hospitality furniture different from home furniture?
- Yes, in construction. It is built for continuous commercial use: stronger joints, harder-wearing finishes and upholstery specified for heavy use.
- Can you supply a whole restaurant or hotel package?
- Yes. Seating, tables, bars, host stands and millwork can be quoted together, which keeps materials and finishes consistent across the project.
- Can you work with the general contractor on site?
- Yes. Delivery and installation are scheduled with the contractor so built-in pieces go in at the right stage of the fit-out.
- Can custom pieces match stock chairs?
- Yes. We match finishes and details to the stock pieces you have chosen so the room reads as one scheme.
- Can existing hospitality furniture be refreshed instead of replaced?
- Often. Banquettes and booths with sound frames can be reupholstered, table tops can be refinished or replaced on existing bases, and bar fronts can be re-clad. Send photos and a list of what is worn, and we will tell you which pieces are worth refurbishing and which would cost more to repair than to rebuild.
