Salon furniture lives with hair colour, bleach, acetone and constant water, and many finishes that are fine in an office will cloud, soften or strip in a salon. Nail stations especially need a top that resists solvents. We specify the surface for the chemicals it will actually meet, and where a material is vulnerable we keep it away from the splash zone rather than hoping it survives.
Stations designed around the tools
A styling station is built around hot tools, cords and product. Outlets need to be where the stylist reaches for them, with a safe place to set a hot iron down. Drawers hold tools by size, and the mirror and lighting sit where they light the client's face rather than the stylist's back. Planned with your electrician, the station takes the power it needs without extension leads across the floor.
Plumbing, ventilation and the back bar
Shampoo areas and nail stations bring plumbing and ventilation into the furniture. Backwash units need clearance and service access; nail tables may take a downdraft extraction unit that has to be designed into the top and the base. The back bar and retail shelving carry stock that sells, so they are lit and sized for the products you stock. We work from your contractor's plan so the furniture and the services meet in the right place.
Spa treatment rooms
Treatment rooms need furniture that is calm to look at and practical to work around: linens and products within reach of the therapist, surfaces that tolerate oils and cleaning, and cabinetry that hides equipment when it is not in use. We design the cabinetry around the treatments you offer and the products you use, so the therapist is not walking across the room for a towel mid-treatment.

- What finish is best for a nail station?
- A top that resists acetone and other solvents. Many standard finishes do not, so we specify the surface for the products you use and keep vulnerable materials out of the splash area.
- Can you include outlets in styling stations?
- Yes. Outlets, cable routes and tool holders are designed into the station, and placed with your electrician so the power arrives where the stylist needs it.
- Do you make salon reception desks too?
- Yes. A salon is usually best quoted as a package — reception, stations and retail display together — so the materials and finishes run consistently through the space.
- Can a nail table include extraction?
- Yes. Downdraft extraction units can be built into the top and base. Tell us the unit you plan to use so the opening, ducting and access are designed around it.
- Do you build spa treatment room cabinetry?
- Yes. Storage, counters and cabinetry are designed around the treatments offered and the products used.
