Measure the space the piece will occupy — width, depth and height — and the route it has to take to get there: doors, hallways, stair turns and lifts. Photos of the room from the doorway and of the wall the piece goes against help us check for skirting boards, radiators and switches. That is enough for us to propose a size and confirm it will fit.
Approving without visiting
You approve the design from drawings with dimensions, and the finish from samples mailed to you so you can see them in your own light. Nothing goes into production until you have signed off both. That makes buying remotely as controlled as visiting a workshop.
Delivery to your door
Shipping depends on the piece and the destination. Large items are packed and crated to travel safely, and delivery options — from kerbside to placement in the room — are confirmed for your address when we quote. Add your city and ZIP code to your request so we can give you accurate options.
What happens after you submit a request
Once your request arrives we review the photos and measurements, and come back with questions only where something is genuinely unclear. You then receive a quote that sets out size, material, finish and delivery. If you go ahead, dimensioned drawings follow for approval and finish samples are sent, and production starts only after you have signed off both. Delivery is booked with you once the piece is finished and checked, so you are never waiting on a date nobody has confirmed.
Listed size or a custom quote
Many pieces in our shop are listed at a set size and price and can be bought as listed. Any of them can also be resized, or made in a different material or finish, through a quote. If your space is a close match for the listed size, buying as listed is the quickest route. If it is not, or you want a different timber or colour, ask for a quote instead: it carries no payment or commitment, and you get a price for the piece that actually fits your room.
